1. cook the pasta and lentils according to the instructions on the product package.
2. In a heavy-bottomed pot, heat the olive oil. Put into it finely diced onion and pressed garlic.
3. wash the red peppers, thoroughly clean the seeds and chop them. Drain the sun-dried tomatoes from the marinade and cut them into strips. Wash, peel and cut carrots into thin slices. Add such prepared ingredients to the pot, stir and fry until carrots soften.
4. pour in the tomato puree and pour in the drained lentils. Season to taste with salt, pepper, dried oregano and fresh chopped basil.
5. drain the pasta and mix with the sauce. Transfer the finished dish to a plate and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
